HEARTFELT DESIGNS
FROM ME TO EWE NEWSLETTER
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the new Heartfelt Designs website. It has been many months of planning and hard work to finally get here. So grab a cup of tea, sit back and enjoy yourself. Look around and let me know what you think.
Why a new look to the website? Well for the past year or so I’ve found it difficult to keep up with craft shows, family, and designing. So after a bit of soul searching and many bites of chocolate, I have decided to limit my show schedule and concentrate on designing. I truly love coming up with new designs for you. I will still offer the option of doing a completed piece from one of my patterns for those of you who do not enjoy picking up a needle.
With the new website I can expand on showing my appreciation for those of you who enjoy my work. I will be having “Appreciation Projects” which will be free projects for you to complete. They may be penny rugs, knob knockers, pillows or pin cushions. Whatever strikes my fancy for the pattern. Let me know what you enjoy doing and I can try to offer that as a project.
An exciting addition will be a “Let’s Share” gallery of your finished work. Email me a picture of your completed project and once every two months a name will be randomly drawn from those of you who sent in pictures to receive a prize. Prizes may be a project completed by me just for you, a percentage taken off your next purchase, or maybe a free pattern and kit. So let’s start sharing. First drawing will be done at the end of June. To see what will be offered at each drawing and to see who won that month’s drawing always head to the “Let’s Share” page for the information. I can’t wait to see what you’ve done.
If you would like to learn appliqué or needle felting, check out my “Shows and Classes” page. Here I will keep you updated on where I will be for shows with completed items and patterns as well as where and when I will be teaching different fiber projects. It’s exciting for me to be expanding into the teaching role again. Not that we will be in school, heavens, it’s more of a sharing, laughing, socializing time where we all learn from each other. Classes have been so much fun, I can’t wait to meet you all and share my love of wool. Right now all classes require preregistration. But I would love to create a time for “drop-in” fun where you can come to work on a project, get help with a problem, or just sit back to chat. This idea is bouncing around in my head, what do you think??
Well, I guess I should stop chatting myself and let you get to checking out the new site. I hope you enjoy what has been done. I would love to hear from you! Besides, the dogs are sitting in front of me with crossed legs…time for an outside break.
Always from me to ewe,
Trish
